MMS Medical Research

Are there Medical Studies Showing That Chlorine Dioxide Detoxifies as Advertised?

What Scientific Articles Explain the Mechanics of MMS's Targeted Germicidal Action?

During the past seven years people in diverse countries have used MMS (Chlorine Dioxide) as a detoxifying agent. Sporadic clinical records and blood tests have been recorded by doctors and nurses. With MMS established as a superior method of defeating viruses and bacteria, it follows that a thoughtful analysis is needed regarding the effect of MMS on various diseases and health issues.
Medical Researchers Analyze How MMS Works.
This web site attempts to catalog the medical and scientific writings, lectures, and peer-reviewed research articles that have emerged. Especially those that analyze the underlying chemistry and bio-chemical mechanisms that produce the MMS outcomes we read about in various success stories. Testimonials and success stories are nice to read but they lack the rigor that professional people expect to find. We want assurances that there's more to MMS than excessive marketing hype.

Chlorine dioxide is a well-known water purifier, a mineral supplement, and a detoxifying agent when used internally. The writings and articles catalogued below provide a collective basis for stating in general that MMS is a powerful and beneficial anti-bacterial agent when taken internally within the Jim Humble protocol limits.
ClO2 is used at this Japanese Fish Market
The concept of drinking MMS as a detoxifying agent (activated according to directions) has been experienced by at least 250,000 people who bought the one-year supply since 2006.

Probably 175,000 of those people continue to use MMS a few times weekly in a "health maintenance mode." MMS began to be circulated early in 2006 under the name "Miracle Mineral Supplement" or (MMS).

The question arises for some people "Has MMS been studied with rigor?" Is it safe to take internally? Are there scientists who recognize its benefits? If I ask doctors about MMS will they know what I'm talking about? Are there bibliographies of scholarly research articles that provide thoughtful appraisals of chlorine dioxide as a safe broad-spectrum detoxifying agent?"

Chlorine Dioxide is not classified as a drug. It's a germicidal agent and deodorizer. The ClO2 gas has been in constant use for about 70 years. So where are the scientists that can explain how ClO2 can target viruses and bacteria that invade our bodies while doing no damage to living cells?

1.   Jim Humble's two downloadable books contain extensive bibliographic materials.
Jim Humble discovered a way to package MMS in a safe, manageable way for general public use. Prior to this breakthrough, you could not consider using it internally or in drinkable form. Without Humble's research and help from a few bio-chemists, especially Dr. Thomas Hesselink, we would never consider that chlorine dioxide could be packaged for internal use. Some bibliographical references are in Humble's free book titled "The Miracle Mineral Supplement of the 21st Century." here: [ http://MMSsupersite.com/MMS-Book1.pdf ]. Between most chapters there are reports from hospitals and other reference materials.

In addition to book one, Jim Humble's Book Volume Two has an extensive bibliography. The book costs $10 at this off-site address: [ Here ] . However, permission has been granted for downloading of the bibliography from book two. It contains 127 citations in PDF format. You can download it separately at no cost as shown below in item two that follows.

2.   The formal bibliography from Jim Humble's 2nd Volume can be downloaded separately.
You can download it [ Here ]. It contains the list of books and peer-reviewed medical journal articles that existed at the time of writing in 2006. Permission has been granted by the author Dr. Tom Hesselink and also by Jim Humble to publish this material for public scrutiny and evaluation. These are the bibliographic topics in Dr. Hesselink's original Bibliography dated 2006-7:
Oxidants as Disinfectants - 29 studies and reviews with cited sources.
Malaria is Oxidant Sensitive - 67 entries with cited sources.
Heme is Oxidant Sensitive - 27 entries with cited sources.
Overcoming antibiotic resistance with Oxidation - 23 entries with cited sources.
Targeting Iron (Related to Hemoglobin Iron Balance) 10 cited entries.
Targeting Polyamines (Related to Destruction of Tumors) - 2 cited entries.
Safety and Research Issues - 10 cited entries.

3.   Illustrated Study "On The Mechanisms Of Toxicity Of Chlorine Oxides Against Malarial Parasites - An Overview".
You were seeking a bio-chemistry refresher at the college level on the molecular behavior of Chlorine Oxides. This illustrated article by Dr. Tom Hesselink will bring you up to date. It applies DIRECTLY to Jim Humble's formulations and the MMS product. (Copyright by Dr. Hesselink. Used by permission here.) Sample page from Hesselink's bibliographic research related to MMS This is a high-quality study that brings the subject to life. Small samples are shown here.. Here you will see that MMS stands up to scientific scrutiny. This should be viewed by everyone who seeks additional evidence scholarly research articles undergird statements about the germicidal actions of MMS or Chlorine Dioxide. PLEASE VIEW THIS ARTICLE even if you don't understand it.

There is uniform agreement that germs and pathogens cannot live in the presence of oxidative chemicals. Of these, chlorine dioxide is specially suited for targeting unwanted pathogens without harming living cells.

This provides a basis for believing in the power of ClO2 to selectively eradicate pathogens from the human body. [ Click Here ] ]

4.   New Expanded MMS Bibliography with Annotations, Comments, and Footnotes.
Between 2006 and 2008 there was an explosion of research related to oxidative therapies and human health. The original bibliography shown in item 2 above is now four times larger. It is displayed creatively in a two-frame system so that the footnotes can be held in view while perusing the article summaries and comments.

This scholarly work by Dr. Hesselink should be viewed if only to see the creative display of the material. As a strategy for publishing scholarly materials, this is a dream-system come true. Click [ HERE ] to view the copyrighted material. Note that both the blue and the green windows can be scrolled up and down. Note also that this material applies DIRECTLY to the MMS product and its internal uses. More than 400 footnote references are formally listed in scholarly style. This expanded bibliography is only published and visible on the author's web site.

5.   A Page of Links to Sixty Other Authors and Web Sites is Available.
About 600,000 web pages refer to chlorine dioxide. Many are related to industrial uses of ClO2 such as bleaching paper, food-additives, leather treatments, purifying city water supplies, and preventing spoilage of food products.

Each ClO2 topic below contains 10 to 20 links to other scholarly research sites.

6.   The Jim Humble Foundation Mission and Goals.
The Jim Humble International Foundation is dedicated to reduction of human suffering and disease. The official Foundation announcement is part of this web site because the foundation goals are built around the medical findings and results that have been attained now that 250,000 people have obtained and used MMS for purposes of internal detoxification. The Foundation's annoucement page is [ Here ]. Please review it to understand the plan for eliminating sleeping sickness, malaria, and TB from various regions and nations.

7.   Biographical Information.
Jim Humble's life and personal background is contained in his first book "Miracle Mineral Supplement for the 21st Century". The free copy is here: [ http://MMSsupersite.com/MMS-book1.pdf ]

Dr. Thomas Hesselink is a medical doctor in Illinois. His background and personal interests are visible on his web site. Click [ HERE ] to view his biographical materials. He specializes in bio-chemistry and "BIO-REDOX" molecular reactions. He is in demand as a college lecturer and specialist on "Redox" and related topics.
